Privacy policy
This privacy policy explains what personal data we collect when you use dacpalanga.lt, why we collect it, how long we keep it and what rights you have. We process data in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the laws of the Republic of Lithuania.

What data we collect and why
Consultation enquiry
When you submit the enquiry form we receive your full name, email address, phone number, country, the selected service and your message. We use this data only to answer your enquiry and arrange a consultation. Legal basis: steps taken at your request before entering into a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
Education enquiry
On the courses page you also provide your clinical experience and the type of education you are interested in. We use this data to answer your enquiry and suggest a suitable course date or clinical stay. The legal basis is the same.
Newsletter
When you subscribe to the newsletter we store your email address, chosen language, the time of subscription and your IP address (as proof of consent). Legal basis: your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), which you may withdraw at any time by writing to us.
Website security
To protect the website from automated spam, we briefly store the IP address of submitted forms. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in keeping the website secure (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
How long we keep data
- Enquiry data — no longer than 2 years after our last communication, unless a treatment or education relationship follows.
- Newsletter data — until you withdraw your consent.
- IP addresses kept for security — 7 days.
Patient health data related to treatment at the clinic is processed separately in accordance with healthcare legislation.
Who we share data with
We do not sell your data or share it with third parties for marketing. It may only be processed by service providers that keep the website running: hosting and email providers. Our agreements with them require them to protect the data and use it only on our instructions.
Website fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, so Google receives your IP address. When you play a video, it is streamed from YouTube in privacy-enhanced mode (youtube-nocookie.com).
Cookies
The website does not use advertising or tracking cookies. If we start using analytics or other non-essential cookies in the future, we will let you know and ask for your consent.
Your rights
You have the right to:
- access your data and receive a copy of it;
- have inaccurate data corrected;
- have your data erased or its processing restricted;
- object to processing based on legitimate interest;
- receive your data in a structured format and transfer it to another controller;
- withdraw your consent at any time.
To exercise these rights, write to info@dacpalanga.lt. We will reply within one month. If you believe your data is processed unlawfully, you may lodge a complaint with the State Data Protection Inspectorate of Lithuania (vdai.lrv.lt).
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. The current version is always published on this page.
